2010 box on a 2000?

I have a 2000 f-350 Dually long box and ford tells me that a 2010 box and bumper is the same and will bolt right up...so seeing as I found a 2010 brand new take off complete with bumper real cheap, I thought I would go for it....has anyone here ever done it? Is it as strait bolt up as Ford says it is?

I picked it up last night. It's at a buddy's shop now so we can sand it and take the lights out etc, then it's over to the paint shop. I'm pretty excited to get it done...doing the 07 front end conversion as well along with some custom air brushing by the same guy that tru-fired my aux fuel tank. Changing the whole truck from burgundy to black. There will be plenty of pics! Thanks for the info!

Ya it's at the body shop as we speak...they are stripping it all down and are painting it black along with my new hood...then the cab and chassis goes in to get painted black as well...I got a real good deal if I wasn't in a big hurry and they could do it as a time filler..so it's going to be June before its all done...just in time for camping season!
