2011 F350, Wanting to add F450 flares on front
A friend of mine has an 08' F350 that he added F450 Flares and 2" wheel spacers. The truck looks just like an F450. I really like the look and want to do the same. Do you think that the 2" wheel spacers up front add more wear to the front suspension? In road racing, I'm always trying to reduce unsprung weight. I'm wondering if the weight of the spacers would effect braking, etc. Opinions please!

well heres mine 09 f350 short bed dwr 6.4
19.5 alcoa rims 8 lug with 2" fred spacers they dont wear the suspension the only thing that happened is that the studs were snappin ford oem f450 studs so now we might redrill and put f750 studs or even bigger |

That sucks. It looked cool though.

Wheel spacers are never a good idea. It puts more wear on wheel bearings and ball joints as well.

Mudrunninpig has used Fred's spacers on the front and rears, for over 2 years and over 200000 miles and they haven't broken. He's got an 8 inch
Lift and 37's....... He even did dual shocks up front. Edit: oh, that's on a 06 350 dually...... Sent from my Acer Android Tablet |
