Just bought my first dually f-350....Has an air bag supplemental suspension on it...whats the proper air pressure to use in these for towing? It has individual air nozzles placed in the rear bumper. I have a 9000 pound(loaded) triple axle tag trailer that I will be pulling. Thanks for the noob question!!
Bruce
Pressure depends on the load. Unloaded you want to keep about 5lbs in the bags. Loaded, just fill the bags enough to level the truck, but don't exceed the bag manufacturers pressure limit.
I have the same thing on my 02 dually. I have no idea what the factory limits are, but I do know that if i keep the pressure under 20 lbs it rides pretty good.
Thanks for the replys gentlemen...I have 20 in them when loaded(pretty level at that psi) and I try to have a couple pounds in them when empty...was just wondering if NO air in them is bad...and whats too much....
Thanks Ogre.....100 max huh..wow..that would be one stiff @$#%rd!
