Stock, my 06 gets 19-20 at 55, 18-19 at 65, 16 at 75, and it's downhill from there. Drafting a big box semi at 70 will get you 1-2mpg. There's a chance you may have to replace rear wheel bearings. Do it yourself and save some bucks, the kit with bearing installers is around $350, and the rear axles are real easy to get out. Getting to the pinion bearing is a bit more work. If you're thinking about bigger wheels/tires, remember that you need six of them, so it runs into serious money real quick. I just re-shod mine with stock size Goodrich AT's, the bill came to $1320 at a local tire discounters. Ouch! |

john, are you going by the computer or are you manually figuring your mileage? b/c mine reads a max of 14 around town when i'm easy on the skinny pedal. when i get on it, it's around the 11mpg range.
highway is a different story... |
