Soft brakes

I have a 2002 f-350 dually and for sometime my brakes have been getting softer and softer what could be causing this to happen?Pads and rotors are in good shape and they don't lock up just soft which when towing is not a good feeling. Help

could be a bad master cylinder or a bad brake line...when a rubber line gets a soft spot in it, it can expand, i have the same issue on my 95 that im gettin ready to address.

i have an 05 with the same problem, I have bled the lines and that solved the problem fr a bit. Driving in dallas traffic this weekend made me aware that i did not solve the issue.
