Dually Questions

I drive a srw 2500 duramax right now and get about 19mpg.
Thinking of a 2004 F-350 DRW with a 4in lift and 22.5 semi rims and tires.
What kind of milage should i expect?
I drive 80 mi a day. 60 are all interstate.
Not sure what rear end is under it yet.
Ill find out tomorrow

MPG approx 16-17 I would guess. The rear end I believe is a Dana 80 still in the 04's

The best I get is 14 MPG... 4.10 gears, 9K lb truck, 4x4 auto on 80 hp econo tuner setting. Doubt you'll ever see the mileage you get with the duramax

I don't have a dually but if you get a programmer such as a SCT you can improve the mileage. I just got 21 mpg by hand on my last tank.

I get about 16 on the freeway. Probably could do better if I was lighter on the go fast pedal. I don't have 22.5's but I have heard they help a little by dropping the rpm's back into a more fuel efficient range.

any truth to 22.5 helping milage. i cant see that happening considering the weight and lift

PM 67ModStang. Thats JEred. hes got an 04 with 22.5s on it. I think he gets 17.

or you can PM Logan, he had the 22.5s before he sold them to Jered. you can ask him what he got for mileage too.
