I bought one...

After many searches and test drives... i finally found a dually I liked. I want to thank this forum... i have learned alot and it helped me with my purchase. I know I will learn alot more too...

this is what i bought: 2005 F350 CC 4x4 Lariat 115k miles on it.

After I bought it, I drove about 1 1/2 hrs home... I love it. I felt like i was in a big rig... very cool.

well... it has been a long week of owning this diesel(my first diesel). Picked it up Monday night. before I purchased, i checked the oasis report... the carfax... i looked at everything under the hood like the instructions say on this site... and today the dealership tells me my #4 injector needs to be replaced, along with my EGR valve needing to be cleaned... it's clogged. by the way... the truck ran great when i picked it up. it started skipping/rough idleing yesterday. so, after spending X amount of dollars for the truck, i now get the joy of paying 1000.00 to fix it within a week. i am spending another 1400 tomorrow on an extended warranty. so, 2400.00 total.

oh well... I still love the truck. I think it was more bad luck than anything. just had to vent.

looks dead on the truck im getting. But mines an 06. Black leather interior? Beautiful truck bud.
