front axle removal

on an 02 4wd, i removed the parts to do ball joints. i took old joints out, pressed in new ones. My issue is its drivers side and axle is still in. I cut the old ball joint in half at the threads to get the hub(part holding joints) out. I then pressed em out and did the new ones. I can put it back in with the axle in the way.
please tell me how to get it out or how thisassembly snakes back in there. Brakes are all off, rotor etc. with the ball joints in place i cantput it back due to axle.
thx its my wifes i need it back together right now

You need to remove the hub assembly, pull the axle out, then put the spindle together. Then reassemble.

yes it is an open diff. Meaning it will pull out and slide back in place once you line the splines up.
