Changing Tranny Fluid

I have an 02 F250 with the towing package. I've never towed anything. I have 111,000 miles on it and have never had the transmission fluid changed. Should I get it changed? I've heard that the new fluid could screw up the transmission since it has been so long.

Yes Change the fluid and filter. But if you are concered about the tranny then don't get it flushed.

I change mine every 30K miles. Yours may or maynot have a TC drain plug, if it does than it will completely drain and take about 17qt to refill. Without the TC drain it takes about 8-10 qt for just the tranny depending on how well you drain it. 111K with no service is not good.
