2001 Dodge Ram 1500 D44 Axle Seal!?

I know ya'll don't have this, but maybe you could offer some help!

My friend has an 01 1500 Dodge w/318 and Dana 44 front axle. He has a drivers side axle seal leak and we want to know if you can add anything to this write up. We're going to be attempting this on friday or saturday.

Huh

I'm no Dodge tech but in my shop there is a picture on the wall of a Dodge repair kit. It's the same thing our brave men and women ocasionally pull a pin out of and throw! Support the troops!

A diff. case spreader would be handy to have to get the diff back in. They can be bear.

Take the hub off with the shaft still attached. Just loosen the 4 bolts on the back side and pull it straight out. No need to unbolt the big nut holding the shaft in.

Make sure to mark the vaccumm lines off the CAD if you take them off.

Have plenty of WD40 or equilvalant handy.
