Steering. Rod end broke at the steering arm

99f 250 4x4 broke the tie rod this morning. I got a new one thankfully it was in stock. Problem is since it snapped the bolt type thing in half, I can't get the half that is stuck in the steering arm out. I know it is only in there with pressure and not screwed however would it not help to twist it free? I have been trying that with no luck. Would a pulley torque device work? The kind that pulls up and pushes down when you twist it? Or how hard is it to take the whole arm off at the steering pump/gear housing thing and just beat it out
Also I realize that the tie rod end may have a different name, Being the one connecting the passenger side steering junk to the steering arm... So I can get a part number if you are here to bs. I just need to get this fixed first thing in the morning
Thanks!

so you broke the ball joint off in the pitman arm ?

fastest would have been to grab a pitman arm if it is stocks

but you should still be able to get a puller on it

tighten something like this up and then using to hammers smack the pitman arm at opposite sides at the same time to get some harmonics going

or heat
