I need some suggestions, over the last few months I have noticed a reduction in my power assisted steering. From a stop or at low speed, such as trying to make a u-turn, my steering wheel is unnervingly hard to turn, the thing just doesn't want to move. I know Excursions seem to have a poor steering radius to begin with but this is nuts, it recently started getting worse, to the point of frustration. I have also noticed she seems to wander on the road more than my significant others, I realize with the lift kit, different tires, etc..., she won't handle the same but he seems to think there is a mechanical issue. ANY SUGGESTIONS???!!!!

Sounds like the power steering pump is getting week. It also runs through the
hydro boost unit on some models. Do you have any brake issues, like when hitting the brake pedal does it make any noises?
