Will not come out of LOW

Got the truck stuck in the mud. After much work pulled it out but now it wont come out of low. I have an '04 6.0 with electric switch. Dash lights say 4x4 and low range when switch is back to 2wd????? Doesnt feel like its in 4wd when I trun tho?

Any tricks? This thing doesnt much like driving around in low, and i dont either.

For the record my truck is not the family "mudder" .... Wet dirt road + lots of rain + some deep ruts = Disaster I pull a fishing boat with it so not much mud experience, yea i prob broke something

thought I would check here before taking it to the shop. Thanks for any help or comments.

Did you try putting it in neutral to take it out of 4 low? Have you checked your vacuum lines to make sure one didn't pop off while in the mud?

Thanks for the feedback. I just checked the book, "Must be in nutrual to switch out of Low range".

Funny how that works, reading the book. If all else fails, read the directions.
