Must I replace my wheel lugs?

Thought I was all ready to replace front brake pads and one rotor. Just read thru a great sticky on this site about replacing rotors. It says that I also need to replace my lugs at this time. Is that a "must do" or just a recomendation on this project. It is x-mas day and I am 98 miles to the nearest parts store anyway. Can anyone give me the lowdown on this? I had figured on re-using my lugs with the new rotor. thank you!

It doesn't matter. Just make sure you dont mess up the threads when you knock them out of the old rotor/hub.

I have always reused the ones I have done and never had an issue. To remove them I usually use a block of wood on the end of the lug and hit it with a big hammer.
