'97 Front Brakes

I purchased new brakes for my '97 F250. I get home pull the right side apart and the new pads are an inch shorter than what is currently on the truck.

I take them back to Orileys and they tell me that the parts they gave me is what the manufacture calls for so I ask the gentleman helping me to look up what the F350 calls for and there it is the same thing thats on my truck. So if any of you OBS folks go to buy brake pads or rotors for your F250 PSD you may need F350 parts.

There is a difference in about an inch between the F250 and F350 the F350 being longer

As far as I know the axles haven't been changed
