97 IFS 4x4 help
I have dammaged both of the spindle nut retainer clips on my truck. the parts stores and the dealer can't find this on any drawings. I need to know what it is called and where to get one.

How did you manage that?! They just slide off with the right tool

I forgot it was in there and tried to take the nut off on one side. The other was broken when I took it out. I sure could use some info on the differintial type that I have or the actual part numbers.

I was able to obtain the clips through the Warn corporation. With all of my research they were not available through the dealer or any other source. It seems that the common standard of repair for a broken retainer key is to replace the spindle nut with a spindle nut kit and then buy new locking hubbs to accomidate the new spindle nuts. Cost at ford for this was $456.00 a little cheaper if you go after market. Kinda high for .30 cents worth of steel! Anyway, Warn saved me. Special thanks to them.
