Driveshaft help

I have an 04 Supercab (extended) with a 1 piece rear driveshaft which has the 'CV head' style u joint on the front and a single u joint on the back. I am getting a bad vibration 45-60 mph. and now its squeeling as well. I called a 4X4 shop and they said it could run up to $500 to rebuild the CV head with quality parts. they are the #1 4X4 shop in the area but I just want to know if anyone has any better options or ideas before I commit to spend that much. I called my local Ford dealer and they won't touch it, they send out the driveshaft to get rebuilt so... am I screwed?

I got another quote from a driveline specialist shop in the area, under $300. I am going to have him look at it first to make sure he knows what he's dealing with. I hope so, I'm getting numb from the vibrations in the truck!

Truck is back from the shop, they nailed it but charged me another $50 for replacing the entire CV flange. Total was $351 and all vibrations have gone away.
