F-250 front end clunk when turning

Im still just learning how to use this site but hopefully this will help. I have a 99 F250 diesel with manual locking hubs. With it only in 2x4 doing daily driving if I have the hubs locked in and make hard over turns say in a parking lot, I get a clunking sound. I think its the u joints, But is this normal? I have had to replace both front hub assemblies and don't remember If it did this before I replaced them. Did I not install the shaft seal assembly correctly? Also I am having turbo problems. I get a wooshing kind of noise at high speeds and high boost. It almost sounds like the turbo is spinning faster but its loosing boost. Any Ideas???
