Strange. Could have gotten flung down the tubes. Probably a good idea to look down there. That's crazy though.
If you have to replace the carrier, you're going to have to set up the gears again. Can you post pics of the wear patterns on the ring and pinion? A new carrier will probably be very close as far as the backlash goes, but you may have to fiddle with it a bit. |
