Yeah, sounds like you have it out of true. You might be able to find you a welding or machine shop around there somewhere and get them to cut the old piece out and weld you a new piece in. They should beable to just put it on a lathe and fix it up for ya. Good Luck

u could try a local fabrication shop for a driveline...they should be cheaper than a factory one....also you could try junkyards....

Go to Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market they have a very comprehencive listing of tons of junkyards you might be able to find one at......

If worst came to worst, you could get under there and drop your back drive shaft, and put it in 4 wheel dig, and drive like that. $550, wow, thats a lot. I would say a fab shop would be able to get you done cheaper than that.

Driving it will surely trash the seals on the yoke and possibly transfer case. If continued, it will trash the bearings in the pinion gear and who knows what else. If you know of any large, over the road truck/tractor repair shops, there is a possibility they can re-tube it. If the ears that hold the u-joint are mangled, be sure to replace them too. You might try to contact > Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shafts I have known of them sending out a complete replacement shaft air-shipped to a little podunk location in the middle of a desert to their customers at a rock crawling championship. And it's quality stuff.
