weight reduction
my 2008 f250 crew cab short bed has to go on a diet... how much weight can i shed off of it... i was thinking of putting the 04 kingranch 18" wheels since i have the 20s give me ideas please.... this is for track only

Doors are for dummies, um, you can take out the engine, I know it weighs allot, and go Flintstones style! That way you can even cut out some of the floor for reduced weight.

Spare tire, nerf bars, tailgate, seats and im sure some more

Lose the trim, carpet, rear seats, stereo, spare tire, tail gate and mirrors (please ship to me), and replace any body parts you can with fiberglass!

if you think about it , there is not alot of wieght loss to be gained without chopping up truck , spare tire and tailgate , no toolbox that kind of thing , no reciever when dragging, that max may be 400 lbs
|

I took off my skid plates and spare tire. When I visit the track I leave my tailgate at home.
