Went to the track

Nothing special, trans didn't want to shift into 2nd both times. Seems as though it was low by a quart, don't know how the f that happened since other then these runs the trans has been flawless.

I ended up running 13.5 with three serious rev taps between 1st and 2nd and it fell on its face until it got back up on the R's in 2nd gear. The next run was horrible. Fell on its face out of the hole and then wouldn't shift with at least 6 or 7 taps. Still ran a 13.8 and both MPH were 99+ mph. Didn't spray it and couldn't keep temperature in the trans at all since it was a LONG time between runs since people were breaking down like crazy on the track. I think the first run was at 110* and the second run at 130* after stalling the converter up to build some temperature before the run.

I wish it would have ran like it did on the street before the track, the damn thing could not hook up under 40 mph in 2wd.

why no spray? cause the trans was acting up? still great times tho. did you try a 2 wheel drive pass?

Sweet runs but hate to say it but maybe you'll be needing a John Wood tranny in the future. I've read story's about BTS breaking and JW rebuilding them. Also read to that the parts in the BTS aren't like the parts in the JW units.

Thanks all. The times aren't impressive to me since I've already ran faster then them before when the truck was several hundred pounds heavier. The trans has been flawless for almost 20k miles and I recently have upgraded the cooler on the trans and only checked the fluid right after... so I guess this was my fault. I'll flush the trans and get the level perfect again and go back. The only time there is any problem is WOT in 4wd.

Jamz - no spray b/c of the trans and I've ran 2wd before and trapped 100 mph but spun so crazy off the line my 60' was like 3.5 seconds and ran a 14.5 or 14.6.
