Ok guys heres my issue. My buddy is talkin crap (go figure) about how one of his buddies trucks will beat mine. Ok this is fine but I just want some input before I do this and embarass myself. My 03 CC FX4 has intake, 4" turbo back, and an edge juice with attitude- not the platinum one. The Dodge CC 4x4 has intake only and a tripple dog with crazy larry. Now I don't know how dodges are performance wise really because the only one I rode in with a chip had an edge chip like mine and exhaust and I wasn't impressed. I just wanna know how my truck will do against this one. And if it would beat mine, how would it do if i get the SCT with custom tunes from DJ's or Innovative. This question has probably already been asked in some shape or form but I couldn't find it so here it is. (I know somebody out there has to have raced this same race or one close to it!!) Thanks in advance for the input!

If he has an automatic he will beat you. I would say by probably a length or two. If he has a manual I still think he beats you by a truck or truck and a half.

If you had a custom tuned SCT from IDP you will beat him. I do and can put a half to one full length on my friends 05 cummins with triple dog/crazy larry.

yea if you go extreme race or extreme street from innovative u will beat him... but until then i wouldnt advise racing him

there so many variables with then cummins, some are slow, some are fast. My buddies 04 is a DOG and my other friends 02 is a beast. there were different models, with the EGR that really held back alot of power. California models. I would say just go for it. See what happens.

what kinda of dodge long or short bed srw or drw, cause my buddy has a 04 3500 cc long bed dully and when my truck was stock and he has a straight pipe and a edge ez (60-70hp) he would only beat me by about a truck and a half now i have a straight pipe and a edge mileage max (25hp) and know i beat him but only by a hair he is right at my rear bumper. and i have riden in a 06 2500 cc short box with a six speed with the crazy lary tune and a magnaflow exhaust and even though the kid couldn't shift it was still impresive size of the truck makes a diff. and what gear do u have and what gear dose he have that can also be a factor.

Ok so we know that its a CR Cummins cause its running the triple dog with crazy larry. I am telling you that this truck is nasty and if it is an automatic is a low 13 second truck if not around 13 flat, hell maybe even high 12s the way dodges run.

My friends with the exact same mods can suck the damn lift pump dry with that combo until he got a lift pump/pusher pump.

I'm telling bro, if you race from a roll he will beat you. If you go from a dig I still think he beats you. If you really want to beat him get the xtreme race or xtreme street file from IDP and you will be fine.

FWIW, the commonrails can make a lot of power with just a programmer... but they need major help in the trans department to put it to the ground.

Get some studs, and spray and you will demolish his truck until he opens up the motor and pours some money in. After that... you'll be the one dumping money to just keep up.
