dhra nationals/utah ??
i'm going to the diesel drags at rocky moutain raceway tomorrow can someone tell me what i can expect, i have never been to one of these events, i was hopeing to get a good look at the trucks, but i can not find any information that tells me if i need a pit pass ?

So i went, and it was cool, not as cool as i thought it would be but i had a good time. they could have been a little quicker with the lineups and what not but all in all it was fun and i would go again! Ill post some pics a little later.

ya Rob i stayed for all of the races but they took so long doing whatever they were doing before the pulls i said to heck with it and left.i agree a decent time i would go again.all i can say is that wide open performance truck is fast!

ahhh, i was wondering if you went. there were a few people there, not as many as i thought there would be. i was wearing a white Oregon Ducks hat. dont know if you noticed or not, i usually do as i am a people watcher. we should do a meet and greet sometime.. get a few of us together and shoot the bull!

A couple of things you need to keep in mind about the black dragster - and I agree it didn't have a very good showing, BUT:
The driver was still getting his license, so the first pass was only 1/2 track on power. The stand alone trans controller was giving them fits, and it wouldn't shift out of first gear. Once they figured out how to correct it, the drags were done and the focus was shifted to the pulls, so they didn't get another chance to run it down the track ![]() The shop that owns and built the dragster (WOP in Sandy) also owns and runs the white OBS truck that lined up with the orange Chevy in the pictures posted just after the dragster pics. It currently holds the record for the highest HP Powerstroke to date, having put down a little more than 870 hp in Idaho a few weeks ago. Given some time to get that thing dialed in, I think the powerstroke community will be pleasantly suprized! You've gotta admit, it's a little hard to tune a rail like that on the street
