Need some help on lowering my quarter mile time!

I am a senior in high school and drive a 2002 f250 Powerstroke with a bullydog 120hp chip, shift enhancer, AFE stage 1 intake and 4 '' rapid flow exhaust. There is a guy in my town who drives an 04 Duramax that hauls butt and i totally want to beat him and i am really close but i need some help on knocking a couple seconds off my quarter mile and some help with getting a better launch off the line. I need an upgrade that wont kill my bank account because im goin to college soon. what can you guys do for me?

A couple of seconds...ummm, ok, yeah, well, try a 4x4 launch. Put in 4x4, powerbrake, build boost, let off break, and :burnout . Thats the best way to get a good launch. Sounds like you have a pretty good start with the mods you have. But, a couple of seconds, is big money.

Have you tried the 4x4 launch before? If you guys are close, that could put you over the top.

How much you wanting to spend?

You're limited to 400 rwhp with your truck, and that's not going to beat ANY duramax that's only chipped and if he's got efi live fuhhhgetabout it... IF he doesn't get chipped you'll get him with a better program, and maybe hybrid injectors. After that, it's REALLY big money to make your truck much faster.

Screw beating him in a drag... his truck is lighter, and probably has more hp which puts him at a huge advantage in this area. Tell him to hook it up, bumper to bumper and then just power brake... you'll drag him backwards as he roasts his tires.

Couple hundred won't get you much, maybe one injector. You need 8
