If you even seriously consider it you NEED to do a through check on that motor. (take it from someone with some NOS damage experience)
Do the obvious compression check, but another symptom is rounded off cam lobes. do a visual inspection of the upper valve train while hand cranking it.
If the cam lobe is bad it will either spit out of the carb, or exhaust, and you'll feel the "cut" at high RPM's.
It looks really nice and clean, prof. done BUT you never know what's inside.
I just read the ad again, and I'd say I'm just a little bit sceptical. If he is pushing so much HP then why isn't he gloating on the motors internals I.E. "arias pistons, lunati crank and rods, lunati full roller valve train etc.." which is what I have in my Camaro, Arias pistons are serious $$$$ so I brag about it!
