750 Holley fuel injection and spray, I'm waiting on him to let me know what kind of times the truck has run. I like drag racing, I like racing my truck but would rather do it in something that didn't cost $40k, I also like off roading in my K5 and driving around with the top off. We'll see.

I don't think it is injected. It looks like he has a holley 750 double pumper with a proform throttle plate. I have a Ranger with a similar set up and these little trucks are fast but it's pretty tight in the ****pit and if it's set up for the track it probably won't be that great on the street.

If you even seriously consider it you NEED to do a through check on that motor. (take it from someone with some NOS damage experience)
Do the obvious compression check, but another symptom is rounded off cam lobes. do a visual inspection of the upper valve train while hand cranking it.

If the cam lobe is bad it will either spit out of the carb, or exhaust, and you'll feel the "cut" at high RPM's.

It looks really nice and clean, prof. done BUT you never know what's inside.

I just read the ad again, and I'd say I'm just a little bit sceptical. If he is pushing so much HP then why isn't he gloating on the motors internals I.E. "arias pistons, lunati crank and rods, lunati full roller valve train etc.." which is what I have in my Camaro, Arias pistons are serious $$$$ so I brag about it!

Well, I'm stilll not sure I even want to get rid of my K5. I mean I know I don't want to but I want a drag car to play with and I can't have it all. Guess I gotta think about the family also, we can all go ride in the K5 but we couldn't all go down the strip in the S10.

The guy said it's a 10 second 1/4 truck on slicks and 110 octane and 125 shot, just got to make up my mind if I want a K5 or a drag truck. I want the drag truck but the wife and kids might not enjoy it as much.
