New Times :(

I went to the local 1/8th mile track last night. As of last year my best time was a 8.96 and that was only with a SCT and stock 265's running on diesel fuel. This year I've made some changes (for the worse I guess). I've went up to 285's, about 1 inch taller and 1 inch wider, I think that hurt my 60 times a little cause they're about 2/10 off now. I was also running bio-diesel and I know my truck doesn't run quite as good on it. It was a full tank also, compared to a 1/4 tank of regular diesel when I ran the 8.96.I added a AFE intake with pro dry s filter, and went from a stock dp and cat to a 4" turbo back str8 pipe. My best time last night was a slow freaking 9.38. THAT SUCKS! Gotta to be the tires and bio diesel. What do ya'll think. I did out run a 4x4 4 door Duramax who had 5" exhaust and he said an Edge. He ran a 9.85 and was in my rear view the entire way. I also raced a 7.3 extended cab 4x4 SD who had a Diablo sport and str8 pipe stock exhaust. He took off in 4hi and jumped me for a minute but I passed him pretty quick. I think he ran a low 10. I guess I can't complain about out running that D-max but I was expecting a quicker time.

Yeah, I would kind of expect that with the lower BTU's from the bio... Did your tire weight change all that much? Other than that, I would think your correct-more weight due to a full fuel tank and running bio... Not your all time best, but way to represent the 6.0!!!

Yeah my truck doesn't even smoke when running the bio. I did here several people talking when me and the D-max was pulling up. They said that Ford's got a BIG turbo, listen at it, it's gonna smoke that Chevy. lol, if they only knew it was just a str8 pipe talking.
