6.0l with edge 1/4 mile

Hello guy's Im new to the site this is my 2nd post Im wondering what 1/4 mile times, and speed a 6.0l Edge equiped PS will turn? I have a guy after my Dmax, with a 03-05 6.0l EX,LB,4x4 with what looks like an edge moniter on the piller. He lives somewhere around me, and tries to race me everytime I see him. He will shuffle through traffic just to get beside me. Both times my truck was dead cold, and traffic was thick, so I had to decline. Im just wondering how close it should be. I have my truck set on the 90HP(rated at flywheel) setting which runs high 14.70's up hear, and 14.1's at sealevel in CA. I don't want to up the program unless I have to. I use this truck for work, and need to make it last. Thanks, J

Depending on truck configuration he may be in the 14.4-14.5 range. 14.7 probably won't get him unless you get a good jump on him.

From the looks of your sig... take the Chevy out and whoop him! haha

I agree with Matt (720)- mid 14s could be expected from an Edge tuner on a good day

Back in october when we went to the track there was a extended cab shortbed truck running the edge. He said he hit a 14 flat but I only saw him run 14.3's and 14.4's.

Do you guys know how they run at high altitude. My 90HP tune will go low 14's in Ca around 500' but up hear at 6000' I only run 14.7-14.8. My old 70 will only run 12.20's up hear.

Depends on if he will launch boosted in 4x4 and if you do the same.. The 7.3's really have some down low power but if they don't have dual HPOP's then it will fall on it's face on the big end..

Just find him and tell him you will meet him at the track.. Street racing can be dangerous..

It was named for the Jarrett family that originally inhabited the area.
