went to the track

well not much posting here so i'll share my latest timeslip.

60' -2.01
1/8- 8.37@84.08
1/4- 13.06 @ 104.34

this was on nitrous, not sure why a 40 hp shot only gave me .1 sec and 1 mph over my diesel only times.

no amient on the diesle only run was 85-90* and the nitrous run was in the low 60's maybe high 50's (midnight drags). I tested the nos sunday when it was light out and i could see smoke go away when i hit the nos so i know its coming on. Fuel pressure holds 62 psi at wot. and nitrous bottle only had one dyno run on it so bottle was full.

Edit-to back up the 591 hp dyno i need to trap 106-107 mph @ 7300 lbs.

pretty close, probably within 100' or so. fuel only was in noble oklahoma (se of okc) and nitrous runs were in wichita kansas. Kinda thinkin solenoid is stickin shut or not opening up all the way, got a new solenoid in the mail today.

huh...100 feet shouldnt be noticable...maye take a high tenth to the next lower, but if your splitting tenths...your getting too technical...

My best guess is you dont need the added burn......you must be getting great fuel atomization without the nitrous thus not needed the drugs to get the better burn, but only further dyno and drag runs will prove that right...

I am truly surprised at your results...

nah 100' shouldnt be noticeable. I dont think over atomization is to blame, im running hybrids they are known for thier lower atomization and tend to be smokey. I still have a decent haze at wot, so their is room for more nitrous.

You know to never compare times from two different tracks, right? Especially on two different timing systems. I know TVRP runs a Compulink and WIR has an Accutime (I helped with the install on that one).

Was your 60 foot time the same for your other run? I's say a 13.06 witha 2+ 60 foot isn't bad. You need to work on your staging, maybe launch with a little more boost. What boost level are you launching at? I lunch my 7300lb Dodge at about 20lbs and on untreated tracks get about a 1.7 60 foot, slipping. On a track sprayed with VHT it should be better. play with it. Also, in the grand scheme of things, 40hp ain't a ton. Now, a 100 shot, should make a big difference.
