First time at the track
Last night was the first time at the track with the F-250. I'm running a stock air filter with the Zoodad, stock exhaust with a MBRP cat delete pipe and mufler delete, and a DJ looney tune. the waether was good mid to low 50's with low humidity first pass was a 14.4x@92.x w/2.0x 60'(I dont have the slips on me right now) My best pass of the night was with a 1.95 60' 14.3x@92.x. If I leave at full boost all four tires will spin so the launches were between 15-20 psi. How much would I gain with a 3.5" downpipe and air filter kit?

You won't see an appreciable difference with the downpipe and intake. When DKR and I were within 100 lbs of each other we ran within 0.1 sec of each other and he has and AFE intake and mine is stock. At only 92 mph I think you need some tweaking on the tuning. At 8100 lbs mine is 94 mph. You don't know what your truck weighed when run at the track do you? Your 60' is close to where it should be within less than a tenth depending on your weight. The only thing I really see is the mph which is tough to really call without knowing what the truck weights but it should be high 93s to 96 mph. How about EGT? Any idea where it maxed out? |

Got a new looney from DJ now its shifting at 4100. I also talked to a friend (that was on the line at the track) apparently the water box was too full and my front tires were getting wet he said they were spinning off the line that would explain the 60'. Hopefully the shift points were the cause for the low trap speed. Looking for some high 13's.
