Thumbs up Low 13s: CHECK!

Well- big diesel did it. FIRST run of the night- fresh new tune from Eric @ Innovative my truck ran a:

13.45@100mph

Sadly- I wasn't able to back it up, or go lower, which is VERY typical of my truck. I normally run 1 to 2 tenths quicker within my 3-4 passes I'll make in a night, but I ran into a small problem. A real small problem. A bolt stripped out on my new CFM+ intake and was letting boost get out by the flange and where it meets the upper intake on the block. So I was loosing ALL my power. Still pulled a 14.2@94 but MAN did the truck sound bad. So I took it track side and let it sit the night out. I was happy with my low 13. I KNOW it has more if it woulda just stayed together. I wouldn't have blinked twice at a 13.2- I woulda known it could do it. I was running a 10th slower 60' and I know I didn't do a full boost launch. So I had about a tenth atleast in that alone. Also the truck was just warming up to the tune WITH the meth in it.
Spring will bring new times- and I can't wait. For now, my 13.45 is still AWESOME and I'm proud to say it's alllll on 35s WOOOOT!

Good job Nate! Seems like a few thought the SSS dyno was reading some higher than expected numbers? Yours look pretty well in line with your times.

I am just glad we figured out the bolt issue! PHEW!

Awesome times!! Just talked to Eric, he said he wished he was there, but the traffic was bad for him. He didn't get home till we were all leaving. He got the VM I left him last night this morning.

You'll get it buttoned up by spring and in those cool temps, you'll have Big D in the 13.2s!!

Congrats on the great time Nate... and sorry to hear about the stripped bolt.

You'll get it straight, and have it turning new quick times before you know it, I'm sure.
