I'm curious about a "what if" type of race. I'm a high school Agriculture and Shop teacher and have been into racing most of my life. I'm just beginning to learn diesel performance though, mostly through the help of you guys and gals. My principal happens to be a gearhead too. He has a 2005 Dodge 2500 CC 4x4 short bed. Cummins and auto. We joke back and forth about the Dodge vs Ford, but I think we may have a little showdown sometime soon. My question is, what do you all think the outcome will be based on y'all's experiences? He has an AFE intake, Bully Dog Programmer and a cat delete pipe that I installed. I have a 2005 F-250 CC SB, Fx4, auto, Studs, egr delete, new HGs, Looney Tune, 5 inch Diamond Eye Straight Pipe. I know my truck is quick. Maybe not super fast, but for an 8k truck... it moves. How do y'all see this going down? I know this is not the first showdown between these types of trucks... Thanks y'all!

* After looking through this forum, I see that posts like this aren't very popular. My main reason for asking is because I know with his bully dog programmer he has the ability to switch to basically a drag only file. As we all know, I'd have to switch tunes, let the tranny relearn, etc. I suppose I'm wondering if I need a hotter tune to compare to his. Thanks y'all.

Id try on looney first worst outcome you lose you could always turn up the heat more and get full race tune . But if you win you feel better knowing you left more on the table. I take it the dodge trans is stock so I doubt he can even turn his up that high or tranny will fall out but hey either way good luck
