when you guys launch in 4hi ive heard of shifting out and back into 2wd at a certain speed or gear shift? Is this true and what is the benefit of doing this?

The truck wont shift back into 2wd untill you let off, so if your going down the strip you can switch it; but it's gonna stay in 4wd till you let off.

I flip back over to 2Hi after I hit 3rd gear. It's not going to shift out of 4Hi until the load is taken off the transfer case. Mine is a little tempermental so I have from the finish line to the return road for the 4wd to turn off.

Practice!!! Go out to a uninhabited area and just work on your launching till about 40mph. Take everything off the dash, make sure that everything is strapped down.
