Nitrous is FRIGGIN' AWESOME!!!

OK...so we installed my nitrous kit on Sat...yada yada...ya'll already knew that.

So, I dropped the bottle off this morning to get filled. (Apparently you have to freeze the bottle before filling...I didn't know that.) I picked it up this afternoon about 3:30 and went to my buddies house to drop my rear seat off in his garage and then to the g/f's house...yada yada...

OK, now the cool part! I got home about 7-ish and hooked up all the lines and did a pressure test of the system. There were a few SMALL leaks...but 2 mins after looking...all is TIGHT!

I had to goto the car wash to spray out all the BS dirt and poo that was in the bed, and I decided to go the LONG way home...

Ohh My GOD!!! Boost is instantainious with the spray!!! I'm willing to bet that this SMALL shot is good for at LEAST 1-2 seconds on Saturday! I haven't tried from a launch...but getting on the highway in third through 5th is a BLAST!!!

I'm STILL smiling!!!!!!!!

I don't have a purge yet....but I will sometime. I talked to the guys at the local Nitrous filling station and they said that the purge would be a good idea as an intercooler sprayer.

Nitrous here is $4.00 per Pound....plus like $10 for the initial charge on a new bottle. Total out the door was $67-something for my 15# bottle. I also bought over $100 worth of lines, fittings and BS to hook up the 20# bottle that is still in the mail. I sure hope it gets here this week.

I also got a pressure gauge that is going inline at the solinoid...they had to order me a manifold to put the gauge in. It should be here on Thurs or Fri. We'll see.

I'll probably have to drop the bottle off at the race-shop on Thurs night to get re-filled b/c you KNOW I'm going to be playing with it all this week!!! Hehehe.
