Axel Gears for the 1/4 Mile?

I have a 2007 F-350 with the TowBoss package in my sig.

If my math serves me, I'm looking at top speed of around 74mph in 4th / 104 mph in overdrive (which I understand is hard on the trans).
Any of the 1/4 mile guys running the 4.30 gears at the track? (with stock DRW 245/75R17)
If so, what are ya'll getting for times, and are ya'll seeing any mechanical issues.

Also, I've never made a pass down the 1/4, I'm just doing the research to see if this isn't gonna cause me any major issues with this truck. (And I follow the proverb, "If you're gonna play, be ready to pay")

You will be fine. Its actually better than running 3.73's cause there is less strain on your driveline moving that big beast. When you get your tunes for your sct let them know your gears and tire size. It should have no problems roasting those 4 out back with those gears if you chose. Then it will be a "TOW BOSS"
