So.... Last night i set up a race with a cummins rival i have in my town for $1K and i'm looking for some adive on things to improve my quarter mile time. I've already raced him once from a 25 roll and made him look stupid by about 5 lengths with an edge programmer. For starters i just ordered a custom tune for my SCT for a little more juice. He wants to race from a dig which kinda cripples me as im in a 6 speed 8" lifted truck with no traction bars. I'll be taking my spare tire out, tailgate off and be folding my mirrors in for a little extra help, but what are some other things i could do or know to be faster? Remember Lifted manual truck from a dead stop. Lets hear some pointers fellas and help me take down another Chit talkin cummins driver who thinks powerstrokes are a joke and are crappy trucks. im tired of him bad mouthing ford and im tired of him telling everyone that his cummins will stomp my Stroke.
