track times
I've been noticing that most everyone with 4x4 with about the same setup as me, runnning about the same times in the 1/8 th as me also. And our 60' times are real close. MY ? I'm 2wd and with my toolbox in the very back of my truck and my stock tires aired down to 35 PSI I have cut a 1.89 60' time with a 8.96 1/8th. I'm leaving the tree at 1400 RPM's which isn't much boost at all. I know some guys leaving at 2500 RPM's and like 20 #'s of boost but in 4wd and no big difference in their times and mine. Is turning a front drive shaft and axles really taking away that much power? If I could make my truck launch at 20#'s of boost I think I would see a good difference in my time. Any and all opinions welcome.
