Ive weighed an 01 CC 4x4 Dmax vs my old 01 CC 7.3 4x4. My ford was 1100lbs heavier. The only difference in load was mine had a soft tonneau cover

I am not saying anything against Chevy but I drive Duramaxes at the wind farm all the time and I am just not really liking them. Not a bad truck just not for me. Them again I absolutely cant stand that an American company that I have admired my whole life like GM would put a foreign engine in its truck.

Isuzu makes great motors. Many of Powerstroke's motor parts are NOT made in the USA.

Chevies ARE lighter trucks. CC SB at the track still has his backseat in and 1/2 tank and he weighed in at a HEFTY 6800. CC SB was stripped down was 7300.
