Talking Buyer Alert- DP Tuner

Consider this post a sort of buyer awareness program for DP Tuner

First a little background:

I am an engineer by trade, loosely translated this means I must ask at
least 1 technical question for every dollar spent, those of you who read
Dilbert will understand what I am saying here.

Basically, I want to understand my options, make sure I am aware of all
possible positives and negatives of a particular product, and
essentially be equipped with enough information to do a cost benefit
analysis or three.

Translation: I am annoying, I have had salespeople tell me go away on
the sole basis of asking too many questions. (Seriously)

That said, I started "harrassing" Jody (as I would call it ) sometime in
January of this year, planning on purchasing a chip sometime in the
April timeframe... I was just doing my research and trying to get a feel
for the person behind the email.

Translation: I was the kid who always asked "why" thirty or more times a
minute as a kid -- poor Jody, I feel sorry for him...

Anyhow, by the time I had finalized my decision, I had sent a huge
number of emails with lists of questions for Jody, to my amazement he
responded to each and every question, in detail nonetheless.

When the time finally came to make my purchase, I did a phone order,
half expecting to hear him say in a half jovial, half sarcastic voice
"It's YOU! Finally make a decision did you!?" and he would have been
fully justified in such a statement, but I found him to be tremendously
friendly and very pleasant to talk to, he even answered a few more 'last
minute' questions I had thought of in the 5 minutes I had waited for his
phone call...

In closing, I have been delighted with Jody's helpfulness and moreover,
AMAZED at his patience with my numerous questions, including the stupid
ones. Thanks Jody!

I have had no negative experience with any of the other tuner folks, but
the sheer patience and helpfulness of Jody has given me no reason to
look any further...

Buyer beware, if you deal with Jody of DP Tuner, you will not be
disappointed!!

Still waiting...

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting, (all of maybe 2 days ) and I elected to have it sent normal USPS mail... when it arrives I will update this thread with my evaluation of the product. If the product is half as good as the service I am sure I will be happy!

They need an impatiently waiting smiley face here!!

Talking Only 20?

You are kind my friend in presuming it would have ONLY been 20 more questions

Side note - next day air is a joke when shipping to Alaska... never happens (or perhaps more accurately described as only when all planets are properly alligned)
