waiting game. should i or should i not?

hey i just recently received my programmer for my 2002 7.3 diesel, but there is a issue, am i able to run the 140 tune or maybe just the eco tune without my Banks ram air(so rate now i just have the stock box with a fram) because there on back order? or should i just hold out till my banks has come in.
