For the first time DP-tuner will be offering a special rate for the first 10 people with more then stock modifications to receive CP testing on their 7.3l during their live tuning session with Jody.

The first 10 people to sign up will receive $200 off the cost of CP testing. Regular pricing is $850. Regular live tuning cost is not included. Limit 2 per live tuning trip.

*Liability disclaimer must be signed prior to the CP testing.
*Payments for live tuning and CP testing must be paid in advance.
* CP testing will be over a 2 day period before or after the regular scheduled live tuning event you are signed up for.
* All copyright data will be transferred to the owner of the truck and will only be distributed at their discretion
*The truck(s) must have larger then stock injectors, aftermarket turbo, or modified HPOP to qualify.

When it comes to tuning not so much. Need a Bigger hair dryer then that.

I guess I should specify since there's so many turbo's now.

It has actually been $550 for 4 hours since January when Jody travels to you.( yes if you pay for 4 hours, you get 4 hours with Jody sometimes more depending on the situation) If you come to Jody or only want CP testing its regular price at $850 for the 2 days. We restructured our price for CP testing over the summer and lowered it tremendously in hopes more people may get their rigs tested. There is a lot more involved with CP testing over live tuning. It's not the same by any stretch. Its actually a complete engine analysis.

This offer is only good if you schedule live tuning during one of Jody's many live tuning events already scheduled around the country for 2010 and want CP testing along with live tuning.

Remember with Live tuning all of your tunes you end up with are included with the price of live tuning.

Okay guys here is a skeleton list from Jody of some points he covers during EA tuning.

Start of injection/SOI
End of injection/EOI
Rate of injection/ROI
Average start of injection
Average end of injection
Average rate of injection
Detonation
Peak cylinder pressure
Peak cylinder pressure location
Burn rate of fuel
Cylinder temperature


There are other points, but these are the main points Jody looks at with the EA equipment. These points will show if your tunes are dialed in for the modifications you have installed. He then looks at data specs on the mods and it will tell him if you are within range of the specs or not. Jody will load different tunes to see how the truck reacts to what he changes. He captures this data then goes back and determines which tunes will be best for your modifications.

As for live tuning, its nowhere in the same ballpark as far as the the info you receive from EA tuning. Live tuning dials in the tunes to your specific wants and needs and EA Tuning will provide vital information from what you have done and the tuning you are running have is safely set to your modifications and the mods have been engineered correctly. Having both is the ultimate assurance.
