From what I have heard of DJ's, they have always been topnotch in customer service and putting customers first. Something like this wouldn't happen without a really good reason. My only assumption would be that one of them must have some sort of health problems or something. I just hope they are both doing well and still healthy. Good Luck to both of them.

I don't know the crew over at DJs, but I have heard many many great things about them. They might be great people, but the way they chose to handle the closing of their business is down right unprofessional. And for that, if they do ever open up again, they are gonna have some rough times. I know things happen to people in life and they are forced to change their path. I understand that. It's how you go about changing that path that sets you apart from the rest.

To all of you that are upset over the lifetime tunes, well, you ever heard that nothing lasts forever? You would have lost your lifetime tunes if the person that tunes had passed away. Then what? I don't think you all should be upset over that fact. What should upset you all is the way they chose to handle this matter.

You don't have to tell the whole world what's going on in your life that forces you change you path, but please respect the people that kept you in business all these years and at least give them the courtesy of informing them you are closing up shop. Just don't disconnect your phone and have your webmaster be your unofficial spokesperson.

I completely understand that things happen in life and there probably reasons behind this decision that are none of my business but just seems that they could have handled this in a more professional and courteous way given the loyality their customers have shown them over the years.

They could of handled it much better, or even set up a deal with another tuner for a discount price. anything besides turning off the phones and saying were going traveling

While I do agree with everyone about handling your business, my wife and I recently went through something that made us feel like not wanting to talk to ANYONE even our parents! although DJ's performance may or may not hold some sort of responsibility to thier customers, DJ & Vivian as individual's owe us nothing, so where is the border drawn?

I feel bad saying what I did because I don't know them nor do I know their situation. Especially knowing from other people what great folks the people at DJs were. However, as a business owner there are certain things you have to handle in a professional manner and more so when you are in business that commands such loyalty. That's why I said if they ever reopen, many people will be hesitant to return to them.

I do not wish them harm for what they have done. Just wish they could have been more professional about it. I do wish them the best in whatever life has dealt them and whatever they choose to do.

I agree with all the above. I bought my SCT last Dec. and had i known this was going to take place like it did, i would have bought it from someone else.
I always got very good service and Viv is super sweet but come on, this is not the way to do things.
