Hi,

LOL Not a problem. You guys help each other out and that's great.

DJ worked for Ford a a certified diesel tech for almost 20 years. He has done FICM tuning several times but he does not recommend it if you are still under warranty. The trucks he's done the FICM tuning on are only touched by him and do not go to the dealer.

Some trucks have seen an increase in fuel mileage and some have also seen a small increase in hp. But, if you have a problem with the truck and go to the dealer, when the tech checks your computers, they will note the FICM is different from the PCM, correct it and tell you your problem is solved. Will the FICM tuners redo your FICM for free if this happens? How do you tell your tech you know the problem you have with the truck is not the FICM and they need to search further?

If you are out-of-warranty or don't plan to go to the dealer, we can tune your FICM also.

Thanks,
Vivian

Hello Waylon,

I have to ask DJ and he's under a truck right now. He didn't want to do it cause he doesn't think its worth it to you. I will let you know a little later. I never interrupt him when he's under a truck

Thanks,
Vivian

Hi Darsey, Thank you

dayusex,

DJ has this big thing about not selling products that are not worth the cost. We've asked a customer who told us a while back he was sending a FICM that he bought, for DJ to tune, to send it us. DJ will tune it for him and he can drive it for one month. If it is worth spending $$, we will offer it, at a reasonable price.

We can work with you also and have two tests running. I will send you a PM so we can get it together. There will be no cost. With both of you I think he can decide if its worth it to you.

Thanks,
Vivian
