What are my options?
I am looking for a set of 40" tires to go on my Ultra 164, 18X9 rims. I am looking into something like the Toyo M/T or something of equivalent aggresive tread. Just wondering what options I have as far as tire selection for a 40" tire on an 18" rim. How wide will the tires be? Also, what price range am I looking at? Thanks for your time.

Thank you for the Post. We currently do not mail order Toyo tires but if you have a Discount Tire/America's tire in your area, they certainly can. In the 40" diameter for an 18" wheel, we can special order the 40x13.50-18 Yokohama M/T ($432.00 each) + and the 40x14.50-18 BFG KM2 ($670.00 each). Shipping and sales tax is FREE for WA. residents when you purchase through us mail order. The approved rim width range for the KM2 is 10" to 12" and for the M/T +, 8.5" to 11". Since your wheels are 9" wide, the M/T + is the best option for what we have to offer. I hope this information helps. If we can be of further assistance, please give us a call at 1.888.459.4080. -Matt |
