Looking for 16.5 tires

I just got a set of M/T 16.5 rims that are 9.75 wide, I have 35's on them now but am looking for something bigger. What is the biggest tire I can get for the 16.5 rim?

BFG is about the only ones making 16.5 tires now days. Nitto may have a few. Your tire choices are slim.....As far as biggest size....IDK. I'm running 33x12.5x16.5. Matter of fact, looking for a set of 16.5 wheels to replace the ones I have. My tires are 90% and I ruined a wheel....cant afford new tires or wheels right now.

Not to be a smart azz but the biggest tires that I know of for 16.5 go all the way up between 44-54 inch sizes. There are actually a lot of company's that make tires in that rim size. I run 37" Parnelli Jones myself. Superswamper, MT, BFG and and many others make them too!

With the wheels being 9.75" wide, you have a lot of options to choose from. Like RRonning said, there are many manufactures that still build 16.5 sizes in larger diameters. Was there a particular size you were looking for?

Super Swamper builds their TSL's in both the 36x14.50 and 38x15.50-16.5 sizes.
