Regulated Fuel system - CPR+
Well I just completed installing my Dieselsite CPR+ regulated fuel return and I'm here to say that it was easier than what I expected. It stated out by me e-mailing the couple major vendors who sell regulated returns and asking them to tell me about their product. Only Bob at Dieselsite took the time to explain his set up and answer all my questions. I know that the information is on the vendors website, but I wanted more. I wanted the "why". The rest just told me to read up on it on their site. Upon receiving my order and opening it, on the bill after the thank you, Bob's wife wrote Bob's cell number and told me if I had any problems installing it to call him since they were going to be out of the shop. What service. Next, I sorted out the hoses and began to read the instructions. Yes, more than once. When I felt I was ready to go I started with installing the Dahl filter unit and cooler. Very clear cut and easy. Next I lowered the tank and did the tank modifications and also cut the vent tubes. Again this was clear cut and easy. Well, the only thing left was the regulated system itself in the engine compartment. Following Bob's instructions to the tee, I began to take off the old parts and installing the new parts. This was the awesome thing, I did not have to remove or loosen the alternator or the a/c unit. The only parts I removed or set aside was the afe filter tubes to the turbo and the passenger side intercooler pipe. The rest was easy access and easy install. Finished the install, set the regulator at 65 lbs and checked for leaks............All was good, and cranked her up.
To those out there still asking yourself which one to buy, let me tell you, Dieselsite's regulated returns are #1 and the customer service, can't say enough.
