hey i know there is an f-350 fully loaded lariat for 52,000 here in town and the dealerships here usually run high.

For what? Are you drag racing or pulling a trailer? Most of the time people are wasting time and valuable fuel on modern diesels letting them idle for extended periods of time. After normal/casual driving it is not really necessary. However if you had just exerted a load on it then do it.
