shift improvement

I have a Banks kit in a '03 6.0l and would like to improve shift quickness. I also wonder if a torque converter (BD) makes much difference.

I know all we talk about on this site for the 6.0s in the SCT. There is a reason for that though. With custom tunes, you can have it shift how ever you want it to. It is all done with programming.
