Dan,

Do they have a FASS kit for the 379 98 Peterbilt with Cat 3406E? The fuel auto splitter valve returns fuel to both tanks and is kind of a pita to get right for the FASS return.. Or does it just return to one tank?

We fixed that problem on our OBS Fords with FASS by using one Bronco tank..

I am looking at doing a FASS 150/180 and a regulated return by the end of the year I hope. Why the the 150/180 a better product than the 150/150?

I bought the 150/150 serial number 11284 I dont have the part number handy. I would like to replace the frame mounted pump with a better one. Do you make a pump to replace the factory one?? Any help you can provide will be greatly apreciated.

Yes -- FASS - Fuel Air Separation System

The 2013 and 2014 kits replace the factory frame pump

The 2011 and 2012 kits work with the frame pump

That is cool about the Bronco tank thing! Never even though about that one....and gives me a suggestion to give to folks with them. Thanks!

As for the FASS and the Cat......(Sounds like a Dr. Seuss book..... )

I would suggest our FASS 150/150. And use a dual draw and dual return setup. For more info on that, i would suggest calling Diesel Injection Of Pitt. They install tons of our kits on the big trucks and would have a ton of suggestions for your application.

The 150/180 is set up to run high pressure. It has a larger motor that can take more amps. Its a high volume/pressure pump. Max pressure is 80 PSI. Thats pretty much it.

The 150/150 is a high volume, low pressure pump. It cant run more than 25 PSI. At that point, motor amperage gets in the red.

Its not that is better, its that is covers a differant application.

Becareful with regulated returns with our system. THey some times cause issue because the regulator on the head and the regulator on the FASS fight to control pressure. AND if the return flow on the FASS is cut off (Because the regulator on the he is set below our FASS regulator) the pump could loose prime and you would loose all the benifets of the Fuel Air Separation that the FASS provides.

When using a regulated return Kit with a FASS, you always want to have the regulator set over what the FASS regulator is set at. This will ensure that you will always have return flow going back to the tank fromt the FASS.

You can either sell your kit to someone and get the 150/180-2014 @ 50 PSI kit or update yours with an RP-1003 ($325.00 + 50.00 Core).

I personaly would buy a 2014 kit and use what you need out of it and put your FASS 150/150-2012 kit in the box and sell it as a complete 2012 FASS kit. I think would would be out less cash that way.
