How much Blow by is acceptable?

How much air should be flowing out of the PCV port when the engine is idling? I have been reading a lot about hard starting problems, and I pulled the air intake off of the air box and turbo intake to check the glow plug readings. When I started the truck, there was quite a bit of flow coming out of the PCV port. How much is acceptable?

You didn't give a year of the truck but guessing by your user name it's a 01. Take your oil cap off and flip it over and set it back on the fill tube. If it rattles off your good. If it blows off you have problems.
